Botox
Botox is a substance that paralyses the muscles and which is injected with a very fine needle directly into the area you want treated.
The substance takes its effect after a week and remains for about six months. After this period, you can have a top-up if you are satisfied with the result.
The most common area for treatment is the forehead and the area between the eyes.
The treatment can be carried out during an ordinary visit to the consultation room and the patient can go straight back to work afterwards.
