Breast enlargement and breast lift
If the breasts are sagging and the volume is too small, a breast lift and enlargement can be combined, which is a relatively common and sought-after operation. Then the same thing applies as to lifting only and, in the case of slight sagging, the scars can be limited to the area around the areola.
All types of implant can be used. The size and shape can be decided by the patient herself but, as is the case with a normal enlargement, this is limited by the dimensions of the chest and chest wall.
The patient is given a general anaesthetic during the operation, which takes about two hours. This operation does not have any impact on being able to breastfeed in the future. Some reduction in sensitivity in the nipples may occur but, in most cases, this returns but may take several months.
Most people remain overnight at the clinic to get help with pain relief when the pain is at its most intense.
The normal time off work is two to three weeks. Any stitches are removed after two weeks and a final check-up is carried out after three months.
