Breast lift
If you are happy with the size of your breasts but feel they have become flabby and loose, e.g. after breastfeeding, a breast lift may be appropriate.
We then change the location of the nipples and tighten and remove the surplus skin under the breast.
If the sagging is not too pronounced, it may be sufficient to remove skin around the areola, which will leave a smaller scar.
You will be under a general anaesthetic during the operation, which will take about an hour.
If you wish, you can return home the same day with a firm bra as a dressing.
There is an appointment to have the stitches removed and a check-up after two weeks.
The normal time off work is two weeks. A final assessment takes place after three months when the shape and scar are checked.
