Ear plastic surgery
If your ears stick out more than you want from your head they can be bent back and fixed via incisions behind the ears. This operation, which is performed on both children and adults, takes just over an hour and is done under local anaesthetic and a light general anaesthetic.
A turban-like bandage is worn for a week, after which a headband will suffice during the following week until the stitches are removed.
