Restylane
Restylane is used as a filler for deep wrinkles and folds of the skin. This transparent gel is injected into the surface of the skin with a very fine needle and the fold is filled out.
Common areas are wrinkles between the eyes, the fold from the nose down towards the cheeks and wrinkles around the mouth. Restylane can also be used for lip enlargement.
The treatment can be carried out during a single visit to the consultation room and the patient can go straight back to work afterwards. A light redness occurs after the treatment. This can be covered by make-up and disappears after a day.
The effect of the treatment lasts for approximately a year.
