How does TITAN work?
TITAN heats up the skin with infrared light in the area called the Dermis. This heating brings about an immediate contraction of the collagen, which strengthens the existing collagen threads and stimulates the new production of these.
During treatment, we protect the epidermis (the top layer of the skin) through constant cooling from the TITAN handpiece. After treatment, there is an increase in collagen, which results in contracted skin. This gives a more youthful appearance with fewer lines and less "slackness" in the skin.
TITAN makes use of light energy as light energy spreads more evenly than other sources of energy, such as radio frequency. In this way, we achieve an even heating of the Dermis.
